Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Critical Care Physician Assistant to join our team at a reputable academic center in Plano, TX. As a Pediatric Critical Care Physician Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work independently and be treated with respect in a dynamic and growing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, educate, consult, and conduct care coordination as a first-line provider to Trauma, Neurosurgery, Solid Organ Transplant, Medical, Surgical, and ECMO patients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric critical care.
Requirements
  • Acute Care Certification
  • One year of pediatric experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in PICU, ICU, or ER preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
