Role Summary:

HCA North Texas Division is in search of a dedicated full-time Physician Assistant to enhance their distinguished team. The focus is on advanced reconstruction of joints that have previously undergone surgeries, with a strong emphasis on limb preservation.

Ideal Candidates:
  • Must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant Master's Program
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is mandatory
  • Possession of a valid Texas License
  • Prior experience is beneficial, but motivated individuals without experience are encouraged to apply
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor are essential
Key Responsibilities:
  • Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday
  • This position includes both first assisting in the operating room and patient care in the clinic
  • Ability to frequently handle instruments weighing up to 20lbs in the operating room
  • Responsible for treatment planning and documentation using Meditech EMR and Centricity Clinic EMR
  • Conducts comprehensive medical history and physical examinations of patients
  • Evaluates and implements patient care plans based on gathered information, with physician supervision available for discussion
  • Keeps thorough and accurate records of all patient interactions, whether in person or via phone
