Job Summary:

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Elevator Sales Representative to join our team in Dallas, TX. As an Elevator Sales Representative, you will be responsible for securing and maintaining service accounts and repair work, developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers, and meeting annual revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceed Sales Goals: Utilize company tools to exceed sales goals and quotas by identifying opportunities for service and repair growth and cancellation reduction.
  • Manage Service Accounts: Visit with Tier 1, 2, and 3 customers within assigned territory to develop ongoing relationships and build an understanding of their needs and wants.
  • Develop Capital Plans: Create capital plans for customers to address their short- and long-term building needs.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Products: Maintain a strong working knowledge of company products by attending training classes and studying factory equipment manuals and supplier information.
  • Prepare Repair Job Proposals: Estimate labor and other job costs using estimating software program, and obtain price estimates from suppliers when necessary.
  • Prepare Service Contract Bids: Review blueprints and survey equipment when necessary, and interface with operations personnel for additional input and approvals.
  • Respond to Customer Inquiries: Receive and respond to written and oral questions related to quoted repairs and service contracts.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of sales experience or training required; for candidates with 3 plus years of elevator sales experience, a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint/drawings preferred; experience selling Service/Repair, Construction, and Modernization in elevator strongly preferred.
