About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at AdventHealth Central Texas. As a PRN Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care activities, including vital signs, blood sugars, bathing, back rubs, mouth care, and collection of specimens.
  • Assist patients with meals, treatments, and activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the LVN or RN to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Participate in infection control practices, including isolation procedures, and maintain a safe and clean patient environment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a CNA.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Texas Certified Nursing Assistant licensure.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
