About the Role

Public Health Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in public health by contributing to the advancement of data science and health informatics.

The selected candidate will work closely with our leadership team and administrative staff to recruit top talent for key positions within our organization. As a Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies, identifying potential candidates, and supporting hiring managers throughout the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to identify and attract top talent for key positions
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop targeted job descriptions
  • Support hiring managers throughout the hiring process, including phone screens, interview questions, and reference checks
  • Maintain accurate records of open positions and candidate status
  • Work closely with administrative staff to ensure seamless coordination and efficient processing of recruitment activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field
  • Experience in technical recruitment and use of recruitment methods and tools
  • Proven ability to write job descriptions and prepare interview questions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
About the Opportunity

This is a temporary grant-funded position ending November 2027. We prefer candidates residing in the Tri-State Area (New York, New Jersey, and/or Connecticut). The successful candidate will be required to work non-business hours during emergencies.
