Hardware Development Specialist

In this exciting role as a Hardware Engineer Co-op at Rockwell Automation, you will play a vital part in shaping the future of automation control systems. Our team is passionate about delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that new hardware meets regulatory and safety requirements. To achieve this, you will need to develop and execute test plans, analyze data, and troubleshoot issues with electronic hardware prototypes.
The key aspects of this position include:
- Developing comprehensive test plans to validate hardware functionality
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop product design documentation and test reports
- Becoming a technical expert in your area of specialization
- Fostering relationships with colleagues and leaders to drive project success
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong educational background in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Prior experience in Hardware Development and/or Embedded Systems is also highly valued.
Based on industry standards and the location, the estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $90,000.
