About the Position

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the procurement and supplier management of electrical services and commodities, with a budget exceeding $10 million. This role reports directly to the Regional Procurement Project Executive and supports the engineering, estimating, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and supply chain management for pre-fabricated electrical, mechanical, and systems components
  • Procurement and supply chain management for specialty manufacturing
  • Establish and manage the Power Design Tool Program for temporary power, large equipment, and tool refurbishment
  • Develop and implement e-sourcing, master buyouts, RFPs, auctions, and rebate programs
  • Issue purchase orders and manage inventory levels for business units
  • Define spend visibility, category families, and supplier strategies for general goods and services
  • Report and create monthly metrics and dashboards
  • Enforce procurement guidelines, purchasing strategies, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and cost avoidance goals
Requirements
  • Five years of procurement or equivalent experience required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; associate's or related degree required
  • Familiarity with category management, e-sourcing, and data mining
  • Knowledge and experience with commodity buying, supplier management, contracting, and negotiations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
