Job Overview:The Supply Chain Technical Advisor role at Civica Rx focuses on delivering technical assistance to effectively navigate supplier-related challenges. The individual in this position will be tasked with managing supplier-initiated material modifications, addressing technical documentation inquiries, and serving as a bridge between Civica Rx's internal teams and suppliers. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations and upholding high-quality standards throughout the procurement process.
Key Responsibilities:Primary duties of this role include:
- Overseeing technical inquiries from various departments and suppliers.
- Monitoring requests and managing responses to facilitate Materials Qualification activities.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to evaluate the implications of supplier modifications on Civica Rx.
- Establishing Key Performance Indicators to guarantee prompt supplier responses.
- Creating Change Controls to document supplier alterations.
- Assisting with logistics and documentation for Customs and FDA compliance.
- Coordinating investigations and corrective measures with suppliers.
- Supporting supplier selection and aiding raw material receipt processes.
- Performing other assigned tasks as required.
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
- A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of pertinent experience in manufacturing, procurement, quality assurance, or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and MRP.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting and foster positive relationships.
- Attention to detail, self-driven, and adept at proactive decision-making.
- Strategic thinking skills to effectively drive solutions.
