Adjunct Instructor: Supply Chain Management

St. Charles Community College is dedicated to fostering student achievement and success. We are seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the role of Part-time Faculty in Supply Chain Management. This position involves instructing courses related to Supply Chain Management and Logistics within our certificate and degree programs. Classes may be scheduled during the day, evening, or on weekends based on departmental needs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical training in the following areas. Instructors will develop and implement educational programs that align with industry standards in Supply Chain Management and Logistics.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience or a certification in Logistics.
- At least one year of teaching or training experience within the last decade in Supply Chain Management or related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Capability to maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a closely related discipline.
- 18+ graduate credit hours in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Three years of teaching or training experience combined with three years of industry experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
- Experience in an educational environment.
- Familiarity with computerized transportation management systems.
- Preferred certifications include ASCM/APICS CPIM, CSCP, CTLD, LINCS, or similar.
