About the Role

Petrosmith is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead our project management team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of projects from the quotation process through execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of project managers and engineers to achieve project objectives.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success.
  • Communication: Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Develop and implement solutions to complex problems that may arise during project execution.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
