Job Title: Survey Party Chief

David Evans & Associates Inc is seeking a highly skilled Survey Party Chief to lead our field survey crew in performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain survey equipment, including Leica GPS, total stations, electronic levels & data collectors, Trimble GPS, total station, and data collectors.
  • Collect and process data, perform complex survey computations using software programs (i.e., Trimble Business Center, Leica Geomatics Office, Star*net, AutoCAD/Civil3D, MicroStation).
  • Inspect and check deliverables for accuracy and correctness, including field note sheets, electronic data collection files, computation sheets.
  • Coordinate and lead field survey crew personnel.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of field experience in boundary and construction surveying.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to travel out of town for up to a week at a time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • L.S.I.T. certification.
  • Working knowledge of Leica Survey equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Trimble Survey equipment.
  • Static scanning experience.
