As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing programs for staff development, education, research, quality, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement programs for staff development, education, and research
  • Coordinate and lead quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines
  • Collaborate with Nurse Directors in Cardiac Medicine and Surgery
  • Participate in hospital surveys and regulatory compliance
  • Represent the Chief Nursing Officer on committees as needed
Requirements:
  • MSN or MS with a major in Nursing or DNP or PhD with a major in Nursing or a BSN with a Master's degree in a related field
  • 5 years or greater of Cardiovascular/Vascular nursing experience
  • Expertise in evidence-based practice, writing, research, and practice development
  • Expertise in leading training and education programs
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office required and Epic skills preferred
Working Conditions:
  • Nights and weekends may be required
  • Works in office and patient care environments that require teamwork and cooperation
Accountability:
  • Direct report to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer
  • Indirect report to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer of the Center for Nursing Excellence
