Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team at AEG. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote events and venues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support event day activities, including pre-event and on-site promotions, meet and greets, and media relations.
  • Prepare written agreements, including negotiated terms.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and coordinating event and facility advertising programs, collateral materials, and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports on public relations progress, marketing efforts/results, ticketing analysis, demographic and economic trends, including event recaps.
  • Manage day-to-day digital marketing programs, including social media platforms and Google Analytics.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts between promoters, artist management, and local media.
  • Assist with pitching stories, writing press releases, creating public relations events, and implementing media drops.
  • Manage grassroots efforts, including poster and flier distribution, community appearances, and overall expansion of marketing campaigns to maximize event awareness and exposure.
  • Generate new and creative ideas to attract new events and promote events when booked.
  • Update website, marquee, and in-arena digital display systems.
  • Manage CyberClub database, create outgoing emails, evaluate campaigns, and develop programs to grow database.
  • Manage after-event surveys, including making recommendations for customer service follow-up.
  • Develop new marketing programs and initiatives to maximize ticket sales, such as third-party partnerships and new media avenues.
  • Recruit and assist managing student interns and/or part-time marketing staff and their assignments.
  • Participate in developing and implementing event marketing plans and promotions.
  • Perform graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Interact with other departments when working on various projects.
  • Take a lead role in all aspects of marketing the Everett Community Ice Rink.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality/Sports Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge and interest in marketing and advertising functions.
  • Intermediate to strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of branding concepts.
  • Intermediate knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Photography experience preferred.
  • Previous event or entertainment marketing experience a plus.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in the English language.
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
  • Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and all event days as assigned.
  • Team player who is creative and a proactive problem solver.
