As a Guest Services Representative, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Checking Owners/guests into their accommodations and reviewing property amenities, services, operational hours, and local attractions.
  • Actively listening and responding positively to guests' inquiries, concerns, and requests, coordinating with other departments to resolve guest issues.
  • Identifying and explaining room features to guests (e.g., usage of room key, ice and vending areas, etc.)
  • Following up with Owners/guests to ensure their requests or issues have been addressed satisfactorily.
  • Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department as necessary.
  • Assisting with bellman and runner duties as required based on facility or location.

Guest Experience and Company Standards

  • Welcoming and greeting guests while anticipating and addressing their needs.
  • Interacting with colleagues and guests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Contributing to team objectives.
  • Adhering to company policies and safety protocols at all times.

To qualify as a Guest Services Representative at HVC:

  • Availability to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and remain standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift/carry/push/pull items weighing up to 25lbs without assistance.
  • Position may require background and drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable legal requirements.
  • Specific job responsibilities may vary by property, team size, or facility.
