Job Summary

The Special Projects Manager and Assistant to the Vice President is a critical role within the Enrollment Management division at Ohio University. This position provides strategic support to the Vice President, focusing on enrollment planning initiatives, project management, and executive-level administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects to support the Vice President's initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional areas to obtain data and analysis.
  • Develop and implement strategic enrollment plans, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met.
  • Conduct research and analyze information to support recommendations and decision-making.
  • Provide administrative support to the Vice President, including calendaring, meeting organization, and event planning.
  • Facilitate and manage communications within the division and externally, preparing draft communication and managing daily correspondence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree conferred by start date and at least 3 years of related work experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated good judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, project management ability, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Internet-based collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communication, business, or related field.
  • Experience in the enrollment management field.
