Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Acquisition Manager I to join our team at NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for all site acquisition and related activities on assigned projects, from the propagation model and RF design to the acceptance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Acquisition Coordination: Coordinate work with Service Providers and other disciplines involved in the Site Acquisition process.
  • Site Acquisition Management: Manage all site acquisition activities, including site file audits, RFDS review, SOW preparation assistance, and coordination of A&E and design services.
  • Engineering Requirements Assessment: Oversee engineering requirements assessments and preparation of submittal documents for landowner (LL) and regulatory approvals.
  • Landowner and Regulatory Approvals: Handle LL notifications and consents, ensuring proper documentation and tracking. Manage regulatory approvals, zoning, and building permits (BP or EP) submissions and approvals.
  • NTP Acquisition: Identify and manage tasks to complete and acquire NTP, handing off to the services delivery team.
  • Civil Work and Installation Support: Assist civil work and installation teams with LL or regulatory agency negotiations, design modifications, and approvals.
Reporting and Compliance
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Attend coordination and progress meetings to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Service Provider Management: Ensure that Service Providers meet client's standards and customer expectations.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain proper records of all site acquisition documentation.
Risk Management and Improvement
  • Budget and Schedule Management: Measure and report on budget, schedule, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement: Actively contribute to improvement and change within the project scope.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in site acquisition, with a focus on supporting small cell projects within the past 3 years.
  • Site Build Experience: Experience with site builds involving over 200 sites.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of AT&T's network and processes is highly preferred.
  • Professional Certifications: Registered PE, Real Estate licensed professional, law degree, or certified legal practitioner.
