We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist to join our esteemed healthcare team at MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the newborn nursery, including NICU support from neonatologists.
- Collaborate with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call coverage, utilizing a round and go model with call from home.
- Perform circumcisions and provide pediatric consultations to the emergency department.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for pediatric patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research projects, enhancing patient care outcomes and best practices.
- Engage in knowledge exchange with a large network of Pediatrix providers, sharing ideas and best practices.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatrician.
