Job Title: Pediatric Hospitalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to join our esteemed healthcare team at Ohio Health, a leading medical facility in Athens, OH.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert care to newborns in the nursery, with support from Pediatrix Neonatologists.
  • Collaborate with a team of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists for 24/7 on-call coverage, using a round and go model with call from home.
  • Perform circumcisions and provide pediatric consultations to the emergency department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  • Work closely with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices.
  • Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers.
Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatrician.
