About the Role

Menzies Aviation is seeking a skilled Aircraft Fueler to join our team at Palm Beach International Airport - PBI. As a key member of our fueling operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient fueling of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform fueling operations in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft, ensuring accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
  • Conduct daily Quality Control checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
  • Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed, following all relevant procedures and guidelines.
  • Comply with attendance standards, ensuring timely and regular attendance.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license.
  • Must pass all pre-employment testing, including a physical, color vision test, audio test, and drug test.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70lbs, handle fueling carts and fueling hoses.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
  • Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal.
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the aviation industry, including possession of a Commercial Driver's License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Ability to learn quickly, understand and carry out oral and written instructions, and request clarification when needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team, and build relationships.
