Aircraft Fueler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Fueler to join our team at US Skyborne Inhouse Careers. As an Aircraft Fueler, you will be responsible for ensuring that all company aircraft and aviation vehicles are routinely equipped with fuel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fueling trucks and utilizing up to fifty feet of hose from the truck to the fuel panel.
  • Climbing a ladder and lifting up to 60 pounds overhead to fit the nozzle to the aircraft.
  • Understanding the machinery involved in fueling aircraft and ensuring that everything is mechanically functional.
  • Detecting potential problems as early as possible and taking corrective action.
  • Ensuring the security of all aircraft while on the flight line, including tie-downs, flight controls, and cabin doors.
  • Operating company vehicles in accordance with all company guidelines and policies.
  • Receiving fuel loads for suppliers and loading fuel into company fuel trucks from storage tanks.
  • Completing flight line reports, including daily fuel consumption, hobbs readings, fuel farm inspections, and daily fuel truck inspections.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Pass a drug screening and background check, and obtain TSA badging if required.
  • Fueling experience is preferred.

Benefits:

  • Part-time hours, including Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Schedule dependent on flight operations.
  • Salary: $16.00 per hour (DOE).
