Job Summary:

The eICU Nurse/UKHC Specialist is a critical care professional responsible for providing continuous vigilance and tele-nursing care to critically ill adults across multiple ICUs at various hospitals. This role requires a proactive and compassionate approach to patient care, with a focus on early intervention and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide continuous monitoring and tele-nursing care to critically ill patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Utilize clinical decision support systems to inform patient care decisions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky
  • Three or more years of experience as an ICU nurse in adult critical care
  • Two or more years of experience in a clinical role requiring effective communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals
  • Current BLS-Provider and ACLS-Provider course completion
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
  • Three years of adult critical care experience
