At Niagara Bottling, we're seeking a highly skilled Plant Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the audit and inspection process to ensure compliance with established quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the blending of raw materials to produce high-quality products, maintaining inventory levels and adhering to company standards.
  • Oversee laboratory duties, including microbiological testing of finished products and environmental monitoring.
  • Ensure the proper stocking, rotation, and maintenance of lab supplies and equipment, completing daily paperwork and reporting results to the Supervisor.
  • Conduct internal audits of plant sanitation, GMPs, and machine operation functions, reporting results to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure all quality systems are maintained at all times, performing root cause/corrective action investigations for non-conformances.
  • Oversee safety team activities, monitoring and enforcing safety requirements.
  • Build a positive work environment, analyzing and resolving work problems, or assisting workers in solving work problems.
  • Act as a backup to the QA Manager in tasks related to food safety and quality within the facility when the QA Manager is out.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
    • 4 years of experience in a position of similar responsibility.
    • 4 years of experience managing people and projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 6 years of experience working in a position of similar responsibility.
  • 6 years of experience managing people and projects.

    • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Quality, Biological Sciences, Engineering, or other related field.
