Laboratory Supervisor Embryology

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor Embryology to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the embryology laboratory, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage the embryology laboratory team, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
- Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely testing and reporting of results.
- Develop and maintain laboratory policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and techniques.
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Chemical, Physical or Biological Science.
- NYS Department of Education Clinical Licensed Technologist (CLT) certification required within 3 years of being employed.
- General knowledge of operation of web-based QC platforms, electronic medical records, and document control platforms.
- Rigorous QA and QC regarding handling of specimens and extreme care and caution in labeling and handling specimens.
