Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor Embryology

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor Embryology to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the embryology lab, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy in our testing and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the embryology lab team, ensuring efficient and effective workflow
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
  • Collaborate with lab directors and managers to develop and implement new procedures and protocols
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
  • Develop and maintain training programs for lab staff
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Chemical, Physical or Biological Science
  • NYS Department of Education Clinical Licensed Technologist (CLT) certification required within 3 years of being employed
  • General knowledge of operation of web-based QC platforms, electronic medical records, and document control platforms
  • Rigorous QA and QC regarding handling of specimens and extreme care and caution in labeling and handling specimens
