Position Summary:
The PIV Card Enrollment Specialist will undertake essential support functions as PIV card Enrollment Officials. This role involves operating a government-provided Enrollment Issuance Work Station (EIWS) to ensure that card issuance adheres to ICE and DHS protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish the chain of trust for identity verification, ensuring reliable services to confirm employer sponsorship, linking applicants to their biometric data, and validating identity source documentation.
  • Initialize PIV cards using appropriate software and data elements for identity verification, personalize the cards with the credentials of authorized individuals, and deliver the completed cards with necessary instructions for their protection and use.
  • Assist with the receipt, installation, troubleshooting, de-installation, and relocation of EIWS equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and controls for PIV credential stock, ensuring that stock is utilized solely for issuing valid PIV cards, while adhering to training and guidance provided in the execution of responsibilities and safeguarding privacy information.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; a two-year college degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance:
  • Public Trust clearance is required; Secret clearance is preferred.

Required Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with HSPD-12 compliant Physical Access Control Systems.
  • Ability to provision and de-provision ICE PIV cards using the Card Authentication Key (CAK) as necessary.
  • Proficient in monitoring organizational email communications and responding as needed.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk as necessary.

Communication Skills:
Excellent customer service skills are required, including effective verbal and written communication in English.
