Job Summary
The University of Vermont is seeking to appoint a dedicated physician to enhance our established team in the field of General Neurology.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will primarily engage in clinical practice at a leading healthcare facility. This role is centered around providing exceptional patient care in a community-oriented environment while maintaining ties to an academic institution.
Our neurology department addresses a diverse range of neurological disorders, including but not limited to:
1. Epilepsy
2. Stroke
3. Headaches
4. Multiple Sclerosis
5. Movement Disorders
6. Neuromuscular Disorders
We offer advanced diagnostic services, including EMG/Nerve conduction studies and EEG monitoring. While the majority of the practice is outpatient, the faculty will also participate in inpatient consultations as needed.
Qualifications
All candidates must be board eligible or certified in Psychiatry and Neurology. While fellowship training in a clinical neurology specialty is preferred, it is not mandatory.
