We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor to join our team at the University of Vermont. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic and clinical excellence of our Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Science.

Position Details

This is a 9, 10, or 12-month clinical assistant or associate professor position with expertise in treating patients with neurologic conditions. The appointment term will depend on faculty candidate expertise and alignment with programmatic needs. Rank will be determined based on prior academic experience and demonstrated evidence of excellence in teaching.

Responsibilities
  • Teach in the neurologic patient management and movement system curriculums, based on programmatic needs and content expertise.
  • Contribute to clinical practice, scholarship, and academic service responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Qualifications
  • Professional doctoral physical therapy degree (DPT) from an accredited university.
  • Board certified neurologic clinical specialist (NCS).
  • Licensed physical therapist in any United States jurisdiction and eligible for licensure in Vermont.
  • Prior teaching experience in an entry-level DPT educational program.
  • Strong communication and collaborative abilities.
