We are currently in search of a Community Manager for our Brookside location in West Jordan, UT. This role involves overseeing the daily administration, operations, and personnel management of the manufactured home community, ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and process daily collections of monthly rents, late fees, and other charges.
  • Address delinquent payments and manage eviction processes in compliance with state laws, including attendance at court hearings as necessary.
  • Recruit, train, and lead onsite staff to meet operational deadlines while maintaining proper documentation for disciplinary actions.
  • Exhibit leadership through effective communication, professional demeanor, and adherence to company policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of community grounds and properties to ensure a well-maintained appearance.
  • Delegate tasks to maintenance personnel using the Maintenance Work Order system.
  • Record lead information in the Lead Tracker System and complete guest cards accurately.
  • Process and approve invoices promptly, maintain petty cash, and track all financial transactions and receipts.
  • Manage employee records, timesheets, and documentation to ensure accurate compensation and benefits administration.
  • Analyze and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports, addressing any discrepancies or issues identified.
  • Handle emergencies, accidents, and urgent mechanical needs, reporting to corporate as required and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Oversee the refurbishment process of community-owned homes.
  • Maintain awareness of safety protocols and implement corrective measures to ensure a secure environment for residents and staff.
  • Foster relationships with residents and address their needs promptly.
  • Coordinate advertising, promotions, and presentations of homes as directed by the Regional Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in property management with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Strong skills in customer service, communication, and organization.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and resolve problems effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook; experience with MRI is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proven leadership abilities and a collaborative approach in a dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
