Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our team. This role focuses on providing high-quality care to patients in both outpatient and acute settings.

Facility Details:

  • Location: Jourdanton, Texas
  • Unit: Methodist Atascosa Rehab
  • Staff Composition: 5 Physical Therapists, 2 Occupational Therapists, 1 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, 1 Speech-Language Pathologist

Work Schedule:

  • Shift: Day Shift from 8 AM to 5 PM with rotating weekends
  • Weekend Coverage: Six therapists share weekend responsibilities, covering Saturday and Sunday mornings

Patient Care:

  • Patient Ratios: Primarily outpatient with occasional acute care support; managing approximately 10 patients daily with evaluations and treatments every 45 minutes
  • Typical Procedures: Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for outpatient and acute physical therapy patients

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Current Physical Therapy license and CPR certification
  • Preferred Skills: Experience in outpatient and acute physical therapy settings
