Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Physical Therapy Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to pediatric patients in their homes, helping them achieve their physical therapy goals and improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients based on their specific needs and diagnoses.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, identifying areas requiring intervention.
- Administer a variety of therapeutic exercises and modalities to promote strength, mobility, and functional independence.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for carrying out home exercise programs and assistive device use.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care to ensure coordinated and comprehensive treatment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, documenting patient progress and interventions.
- Adhere to all applicable state licensure requirements and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Texas Physical Therapy License.
- Experience working with pediatric patients in a home health setting preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
