Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team at Goldsboro Comprehensive Treatment Center. As a key member of our counseling team, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients seeking recovery from opioid use disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and goals.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up assessments to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Provide crisis intervention and case management services to patients, as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Prefer Bachelor's or Master's degree in social or health services field.
  • Degree must be from an accredited college or university with practicum in order to be licensed.
  • Prior experience and knowledge in an addiction recovery and/or MAT (medication-assisted treatment) environment.
  • Licenses/Certifications: CADC-I, CADC, LCAS-A, LCAS, LCSW-A, LCSW.
