Responsibilities

Job Summary

This role entails providing individual, group, and family counseling, conducting clinical evaluations for both new and existing clients, and demonstrating expertise in therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices. Additionally, you will maintain effective communication with the treatment team to ensure thorough patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate counseling sessions, treatment planning, and triage services
  • Provide family counseling support
  • Deliver clinical services to assigned clients and engage in team discussions
  • Ensure documentation is completed accurately and promptly
  • Communicate effectively with various departments
  • Comply with state and facility regulations
  • Uphold patient and organizational confidentiality
  • Adhere to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations
  • Assist in managing the patient community

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences (social work, counseling, or psychology)
  • Progressing towards licensure/certification in substance abuse
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral healthcare
  • Experience in substance abuse, addictions, mental health, and cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Proficient in electronic health records and ASAM criteria
  • Ability to work with adult clients and psychotropic medications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements
