Position Overview:

The Counselor will deliver counseling services focused on substance use disorders and mental health, both individually and in group settings. Key responsibilities include conducting evaluations, screenings, assessments, and maintaining documentation in accordance with organizational standards.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday mornings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline
  • Certification in addiction counseling is required

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in time management, communication, and computer skills is essential for this role.

Compensation Structure:

  • Bachelor's degree: $19.23/hour
  • Master's degree: $21.63/hour

Certification Incentives:

  • Certified Addiction Professional (CAP): +$0.50/hour
  • Masters Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP): +$1.00/hour

Licensing Requirements:

A valid Florida driver's license and a background check are mandatory.
