Evening Substance Use Counselor - $1,500 Retention Bonus

Retention Bonus Details
This role is eligible for a $750 retention bonus, with $750 awarded after 6 months of service and the remaining amount after 12 months.
Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $52, $61,322.85 annually
Base salary plus MHPSA differential: $60, $70,521.28
The anticipated salary range for this position is a good faith estimate, and actual compensation may vary based on the candidate's relevant experience, skills, and other factors.

Role Summary
This position involves delivering a comprehensive range of outpatient treatment services, including assessments, group facilitation, individual and family sessions, and service coordination. As a vital member of our evening outpatient treatment team, this role employs a strength-based approach and requires innovative application of knowledge in cognitive behavioral interventions and service coordination. Collaboration is key, necessitating close relationships with Court Services, Social Services, substance use providers, mental health providers, schools, managed care, and various community resources.

Minimum Qualifications
- MN LADC licensure.
- Completion of 30 hours of training in Adolescent Development.
- Experience collaborating with Court Services, Social Services, and Managed Care networks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience providing services to diverse populations.
- Three years of experience in substance use, including at least two years of direct experience with cognitive behavioral approaches, motivational interviewing, and co-occurring disorders.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems.
