Lead Analyst for Naval Nuclear Ship Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses, evaluations, and documentation of nuclear vessel maintenance performance, encompassing both strategic planning and operational execution.
- Track actions and achievements to enhance nuclear ship maintenance planning, execution, and process improvement initiatives.
- Formulate and circulate routine communications through letters, presentations, and various correspondence.
- Assist in data gathering and analysis to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities, including the creation of innovative metrics and performance measures for shipyard and nuclear ship maintenance operations.
- Facilitate meetings and communications across the organization to resolve issues effectively.
- Engage directly and regularly with shipyard department leaders and program managers to support the aforementioned responsibilities.
- Over fifteen years of experience in a Naval Shipyard, including involvement in two or more projects at the Assistant Project Superintendent level or higher, Assistant Chief Test Engineer level or higher, or other leadership roles in project or shop management (e.g., Project Engineering and Planning Manager), or a minimum of ten years in NAVSEA within the Industrial Operations or In-Service Support Program offices.
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen with a Secret Security Clearance.
- Possess expert-level knowledge of shipyard operations, including resource allocation, project management, and execution.
- Demonstrate a profound understanding of project management principles.
- Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
