In the role of a Senior Analyst specializing in Surface Ship Maintenance and Modernization, you will leverage your expertise in hull, mechanical, and engineering or combat systems maintenance management. Collaborating with leading minds in mission consulting and analytics, you will engage in projects aimed at sustaining and enhancing surface vessels. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying issues, crafting solutions, and partnering with Navy leadership to advance surface warfare initiatives.

Join us in orchestrating and aligning surface ship maintenance and modernization efforts with operational demands, training timelines, shipyard capabilities, and Navy maintenance funding, while engaging with stakeholders throughout the surface navy. Qualifications:

  • 14+ years of experience in Surface Warfare or the Department of Defense, including roles as an afloat Department Head.
  • 2+ years of experience in coordinating, planning, or managing shipboard maintenance activities.
  • Experience as a Chief Engineer afloat, Damage Control Assistant, Main Propulsion Assistant, Ship's Maintenance and Materiel Officer, or Ship Supervisor.
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering briefings, issue papers, presentations, and documents at both tactical and strategic levels, particularly for General Officer or Flag Officer audiences.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience on a major staff, including Echelon III or above, or equivalent Joint or Combatant Command staff.
  • Familiarity with ship maintenance cycle processes.
  • Experience in Navy requirements development and the Navy Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes.
  • Background in Surface Navy maintenance planning and management.
  • Experience with NAVSEA.
  • A Master's degree.

Clearance Requirements:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Salary at Booz Allen is influenced by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually. This range represents the typical salary for this role and is part of Booz Allen's comprehensive compensation package.
