Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Field Project Coordinator to join our team at TTL Inc. in Nashville. As a key member of our engineering design firm, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability of our projects by collecting and testing soil samples, preparing field boring logs, and coordinating field exploration activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and test soil samples to ensure project stability
  • Prepare field boring logs and coordinate field exploration activities
  • Assist professional engineering staff with technical tasks related to project objectives
  • Travel across the state as needed

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to work independently or with a team
  • Willing to work in all types of weather, field conditions, and unconventional hours
  • Basic computer skills
  • Communicate effectively with fellow employees and team members
  • Competently read plans and maps
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of geology (recommended, but not required)
