About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager for Customer Obsession at Uber, you will lead the development of innovative Generative AI experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our customers. Your primary mission will be to leverage cutting-edge AI/LLMs to empower customers to self-serve their issues while ensuring a seamless and engaging experience. You will utilize best-of-breed technologies and design thinking to deliver solutions at scale, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product strategy for the customer-generative AI assistant, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the design team to guide their investments in research, prototyping, experimentation, and design thinking, driving innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with the machine learning team to guide their investments in LLM and Conversational AI, ensuring seamless integration and optimal results.
  • Collaborate with various Uber product teams to integrate customer information and infographics, enabling accurate and crafted resolutions.
  • Make data-driven decisions, balancing technical and business insights with experimentation and customer feedback.
  • Supervise and measure launched products, feeding insights back into the product development process to drive growth and improvement.
  • Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results to various stakeholders, including internal teams, executives, and customers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products or platforms.
  • Computer Science degree or similar.
  • Strong technical background in AI/ML, with experience building customer-generative AI assistant technology.
  • Experience building Mobile UI/UX for large-scale consumer applications, understanding customer mobile behavior and patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data-driven decision-making ability and a 'driver' personality, constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing collaboration.
  • Design thinking and customer-centric approach to building, experimenting, and iterating products.
  • High standards across the board, from contributions to people and products.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this role is USD$174,000 per year - USD$193,500 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program and may be offered an equity award and other types of compensation. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
