Job Title: Senior Product Manager - Technical

Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical to join our Alexa Customer Journeys team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of proactive assistance for Generative AI use cases.

About the Role

This is a horizontal product role spanning multiple delivery orgs in a functional product team. You will work closely with engineering, applied science, and UX/design teams to advance the state of the art in Generative AI-based services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive clarity out of ambiguity and define a clear vision, strategy, and requirements for customer scenarios.
  • Develop and manage mechanisms that ensure high quality at speed and scale.
  • Represent the voice of the customer through external and internal research and map to customer needs.
  • Work with engineering, applied science, and UX/design to advance the state of the art.
  • Drive adoption, engagement, and experimentation of your products.
  • Collaborate and partner closely across Amazon to amplify proactive experiences.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
