Position Overview:

The Principal Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in the definition and coordination of the development, maintenance, and enhancement of sophisticated business applications, specifically within the realms of Supply Chain Management (SCM), Inventory Management (INV), Warehouse Management (WMS), and Supply Chain Planning (SCP).


Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize insights and initiative to influence business partners towards adopting more efficient and competitive processes.
  • Conduct feasibility studies that lead to comprehensive business proposals, detailing alternative strategies, costs, benefits, resource needs, task dependencies, and timelines.
  • Analyze and assess existing or proposed systems, collaborating with the Delivery team to refine computer programs, systems, and related procedures for data processing.
  • Establish and evaluate service levels for assigned applications, identifying opportunities for enhancements in service quality.
  • Document intricate user requirements, business process flows, functional specifications, and business needs necessary for system development or modification.
  • Prepare program specifications and diagrams, including process flows, data flows, and logical data models.
  • Evaluate application software packages in SCM, Inventory, and WMS, providing recommendations to management.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with business customers and IT team members to ensure successful project completion and ongoing operations.
  • Manage critical production support using service management tools and procedures for tracking user communications and service level management.
  • Review end-user training materials and coordinate hands-on training for users on various aspects of IT Supply Chain applications.

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in business systems.
  • Extensive knowledge in key business areas, particularly in Supply Chain Management and Warehouse Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in implementation projects, delivering functional solutions in at least two of the following modules: Warehouse Management, Inventory, Supply Chain Planning, Order Management, Maintenance, Costing, and Purchasing.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience with leading Supply Chain Planning solutions is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical and Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to work beyond standard hours as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
