About the Role

We are seeking a talented Algorithm Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation chatbot and machine translation solutions for TikTok Shopping. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing intelligent customer service solutions that enhance the user experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize chatbot and machine translation services to improve the TikTok Shopping experience
  • Collaborate with product and operation teams to understand user intentions and design solutions for experience excellence
  • Develop NLP models for text classification, machine reading, and summarization, as well as prediction models for question prediction and chatbot action prediction
  • Develop and optimize machine translation services for cross-region product listing, buyer-seller communication, and commenting
  • Develop multi-modal AIGC models for product copywriting, including product title, selling points, description, and live broadcast script creation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
  • At least 3 years of work experience in related field
  • Large language models, natural language generation, machine translation, question answering, machine reading, information extraction, text mining, and classification
  • Work experience in e-commerce or Internet industry preferred
  • Practical experience in NLP, dialogue systems, machine translation, and NLP-related projects in IR/Ads systems
  • Familiar with at least one computer programming language, including but not limited to Go, Python, Java
  • Experience with big data development, including but not limited to Hive, Spark
  • Candidates who have published high-quality papers are preferred
