About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wireless Systems Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art wireless algorithms that will be integrated into satellites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement wireless algorithms using Matlab and Python
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to prove out algorithms and ensure seamless integration
  • Design and develop new wireless radio payloads to address customer needs
  • Test and validate algorithms in real-time systems
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience developing wireless algorithms with Matlab and Python
  • Experience with Software Defined Radios
  • Experience working with hardware and software teams to port algorithms and testing in real-time systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of directly relevant experience in IoT/Wireless
  • Experience with wireless positioning algorithms and knowledge of time of flight-based positioning systems like GPS
  • Experience with Digital Beamforming algorithms in wireless communication systems
  • Knowledge of FPGA design and embedded system design
