Director of Sales & Marketing Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team at Raleigh Durham Embassy Suites. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Manage and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the revenue management team to develop pricing and inventory strategies.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the hotel and drive bookings.
  • Manage the hotel's social media presence and online reputation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the hotel remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in hotel sales and marketing, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
