Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting communication initiatives and events aimed at enhancing the visibility and sales of our brands.

This position focuses on effective brand positioning and fostering sustainable growth while collaborating with sales teams to ensure consistent execution that aligns with the objectives of Eagle Rock Distributing Company (ERDC) and our partners.


Key Responsibilities:


As a Marketing Coordinator, you will collaborate with the marketing team to implement marketing strategies for the ERDC portfolio while adhering to a defined budget.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Event Coordination and Point of Sale ManagementGoal: To oversee the entire process of ER events from inception to completion/ Manage all aspects of Point of Sale Special Event coordination and execution from retail environments to the actual event. Negotiate sponsorships in collaboration with the Director of Marketing/Brand Team. Responsible for managing accounts related to team sponsorships and venues.

Oversee and direct activations, product sampling, and promotional efforts for special events. Enhance brand growth by effectively positioning ERDC products. Ensure timely delivery of equipment to accounts. Forecast product needs for events eight weeks in advance. Confirm receipt of payments upon event completion. Maintain all special event equipment to ERDC standards. Provide comprehensive recaps for each event.During Off-Season Duties:
Monday to Friday Schedule Assist with venue execution, venue sales, and product rotation. Monthly asset organization and maintenance.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. College experience is advantageous but not mandatory. The candidate must represent the company professionally at all times. A valid driver's license is required, and the candidate must meet Eagle Rock's minimum driving standards.
Physical Requirements: Must be capable of reaching, pulling, twisting, bending, and stooping to handle kegs of beer. Must accurately check code dates and communicate effectively with retailers and colleagues. May require prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasionally, the ability to lift over 100 lbs is necessary.

Must be able to push or pull loaded carts weighing approximately 300 lbs.

Environmental Conditions & Temperament: Job responsibilities are performed both indoors and outdoors at warehouses and event locations. Exposure to varying weather conditions, walk-in cooler temperatures, and semi-truck travel, as well as exposure to fumes, vibrations, and noise levels. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in public while fulfilling job duties.
Thorough knowledge of products and packaging is essential. A safe driving record is also required. Previous experience in the beverage industry is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation range:
$55,000 to $65,000 per year base salary. (Actual compensation may vary based on route, geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.)
