Position Overview

The Brand Promotion Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing brand visibility and driving sales for Breakthru Beverage Group's portfolio through engaging and innovative in-store and market events. This position involves participating in targeted promotional activities that foster consumer interaction and strengthen relationships with both consumers and brands.

This is a part-time opportunity.

Compensation Overview:

Salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, and the applicant's skills and relevant experience.

Compensation Structure: Hourly Rate - $25.00 / hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales performance by collaborating with account teams to identify selling opportunities, complete necessary surveys, and track sales metrics during events.
  • Provide education to clients, account personnel, and fellow promotion associates regarding assigned brands.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate any out-of-stock situations to the National Account Manager.
  • Uphold account standards as set by management and utilize effective point-of-sale materials to maximize brand exposure.
  • Collaborate effectively with all personnel, including chain staff, distributors, and suppliers to boost brand sales and ensure successful promotional initiatives.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service in alignment with account standards and expectations.
  • Enhance professional knowledge by attending training sessions, brand workshops, and networking with industry professionals.
  • Complete all required training programs, including participation and passing assessments as outlined by management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong results-oriented mindset with effective verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating diplomacy and discretion.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits is essential, with experience in sales or service environments being highly desirable.
  • Candidates with strong accounting, technical, customer service, and interpersonal skills are preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing job duties, the employee may need to remain stationary at times, communicate effectively, and operate a computer and telephone.

Competencies:

  • Accountable for achieving personal targets, with work reviewed periodically.
  • Problems encountered are typically defined and routine, with readily available solutions.
