About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at Atrium Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care and working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and communication with healthcare teams.
- Promote a culture of safety and respect, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competence in point-of-care testing and other skills as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications may be required based on unit assignments.
