AECOM Hunt Construction Management Internship

AECOM Hunt is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Management Intern to join our team in New Orleans, LA.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction management, working on a variety of projects and tasks. As a Construction Management Intern, you will assist senior staff in performing a range of assignments, including project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

You will have the opportunity to work on a dynamic team, collaborating with experienced professionals to deliver high-quality projects. This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience, introducing you to essential skills and knowledge in construction management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior staff in performing project-related tasks, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Completed at least 1 year of study.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working for a large general contractor.
  • Previous relevant internship experience.
  • Exposure to construction-based computer programs.
