Position Overview:
The Surgical Scheduling and Registration Clerk plays a vital role in our healthcare team by welcoming and assisting visitors, pre-registering and admitting patients, answering phone inquiries, scheduling surgical procedures, and retrieving historical medical records. Additional responsibilities include sorting incoming mail and managing payment processing, ensuring timely forwarding to the hospital cashier.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a minimum of three years of prior experience in a medical office setting, demonstrating proficiency in medical terminology. Strong computer skills, office experience, and excellent telephone etiquette are essential, along with outstanding customer service abilities. A high school diploma is required, and further education is advantageous.
