Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our maintenance team at Staffing Logistics. As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules and records.
  • Assist in equipment rebuilding and engineering projects.
  • Perform timely equipment changeovers and assist operators with equipment setup.
  • Ensure compliance with all work safety practices and environmental regulations.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and electrical work in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to use a computer and multitask.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills in electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and hydraulics.
  • Experience with HVAC, Boiler, and Air Compressor systems a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, plumbing, and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot control circuits and wire 480 Volt Motors and Equipment.
  • Experience with PLC's, drives, and other hardware.

Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires physical stamina and ability to execute strenuous tasks such as climbing and lifting objects.
  • Ability to walk and carry tool backpack.
