Lead Financial Analyst for FAA Programs

This role demands exceptional analytical capabilities, a comprehensive grasp of financial and project management principles, and the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources to present a holistic view of the project.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver a full spectrum of cost analysis and management services, encompassing program cost and pricing assessments, budget formulation, detailed cost projections throughout the project lifecycle, proposal pricing evaluations, and data management to aid program managers and team leaders in decision-making;
  • Evaluate project specifications and generate budget forecasts and other cost assessments for all stages of project development and execution, ensuring adherence to standardized formats established by the Program Office;
  • Assist in Budget Formulation initiatives and prepare essential documents such as RPDs, CIP updates, CIT briefs, PLA documents, and other business and financial planning materials;
  • Contribute to various briefings and data requests.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in acquisition strategies, budget oversight, contract assessment, cost management, and contract administration, with a solid understanding of accounting practices, including budget formulation and program cost oversight, contractor pricing strategies, and contract proposal breakdowns;
  • Familiarity with cost modeling; detail-oriented with a proven ability to organize and manage intricate models; high-level expertise in spreadsheets, reports, and other cost estimation tools;
  • Capable of planning, coordinating, and prioritizing tasks and workload, executing responsibilities, and meeting deadlines;
  • Experience with U.S. Government budget and financial processes;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively;
  • Eligibility to obtain Public Trust Clearance;
  • Residency in the U.S. for three out of the last five years;
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant professional experience (e.g., Management, Business, Economics, Finance, etc.);
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related fields is mandatory.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
  • Experience with the FAA Investment Analysis framework;
  • Prior involvement in the preparation of Federal Government IGCE and lifecycle cost assessments.
